I was born in Algeciras, a December 14, 1944. From childhood I was excited about drawing, copied from the cartoons of the comics and later paintings of artists that I liked, including El Greco, also of bullfighting prints and drawings I have saved all that when the review and see, I remember that happy time.

Subsequently and because of my work quite forgot their hobby, although at certain times, especially on my vacation, did some oil paintings, as it had been slowly learning this technique but did not dominate the color scheme and colors normally used pure. I keep pictures of that era.

After taking early retirement in the year 2002, found enough time to get my hopes again, and so was through a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Juan Jimenez, now friend, I learned some techniques that helped me later to complete my work that I discuss in part on this page Artelista. With it began again, because I did not go directly to oil painting, and another with drawings in charcoal, chalk, and later with acrylics and oil.

With the Academy of John I agreed to several group exhibitions, and later as a painter independent and collective well I had my first solo.

The places (towns - towns) where we have seen, have been Los Barrios, La Linea, Algeciras, Zahara Sierra, Torre del Mar and Seville, and all I keep a pleasant memory, among other things because I had the opportunity to meet new friends, artists, painters, sculptors, writers, .. with whom I talked and had a good time.

On Line and paint my picture called taurine got the First Mention-first prize, in 2008 a competition of painters held annually in July, sponsored by the Municipality of that city.

My work has been varied landscapes, seascapes, still lifes and some compositions which mix the design and color and they all have tried to put a unique stamp, which I have achieved.

I think in these years I have evolved and there is no doubt that critical of my work will be you, the people who see my exhibitions or through this site to see my works and you will be known in places where my paintings may never be.

My painting, I think, is colorful and has light, so I at least pretend.

As seen in these lines and a reduced form I have tried to know my path, the path of a person who wants to be a good painter, and the steps I have and I'm taking to it. I do not lack enthusiasm, but the scene of the painting is not so easy and some or most of the time is hard to leave your environment and access to rooms in which your work may be more valued.
